These are some of the dishes I created over the years.

Some random pizza-rolls

Lemon-lime-garlic-chicken with oven-potatoes. Didn't turn out as amazing as planned, but was still pretty good.

BBQ'ing at the castle. Always a pleasure! Specially when I can get fancy with the marinade!

At the mustard-shop in görlitz. A must do, hundreds of different mustards ready to taste!

Beautiful ciabatta. Plus selfmade pesto, see next picture.

This time they literally caramelised on the bottom. It tasted like real caramel, with a slightly burned aroma. Realy interesting, never happened before.

You cant see it that well, but thats beautiful selfmade pesto. Fresh basil, grated parmesan, roasted pine-nuts, quality olive-oil,...

Parmesan-vegetables. It was a little bit too ... thick. Have to think about something the next time to make it lighter.

Uh, uh! Cheese-crust! Whaaa!

Selfmade meatballs (or Frikadellen), oven-potatoes, and (ok, not so well cooked) vegetables.

I used some leftover pizza dow to just made some cheese-filled sticks. Beautiful on the side of a cold dinner, with some mozarella and cherry-tomatoes.

This took me about 2 minutes to make. Fresh meatballs, some nice linguine, done! With a salad or something on the side it whould serve probably 3-4 people. So no excuses if you cook for yourself to use unhealthy pre-cooked stuff! ´*-)

Found this at a "german christmas market" in denver. This was beautiful, the prices not so much. Probably worth it but still...

Our christmas-eve-dinner. German sausages from "sunflowers" with sauerkraut and salt-potatos. What's not on the pictures are the poisened french fries that made salome pucke that night every 30 minutes.

Lasagne. I used a bit to much cheese (if that's even possible) and could've cooked it a little less to keep it more al dente but it still was really, really good. I made everything from scratch except the lasagne-sheets. Next time I'll do that too...

Steak et frites. Self explaining. Parisian bistro style. So good.

Lyonnaise d' pomme de terre (or something like that). Thin potato-slices and onion ring shortly sauteed in olive oil, salt&white pepper and thyme; finished with butter for 25 minutes in the oven. Beautiful.

Aglio e burro with a poached egg on top. Beautiful.

Pork, smoked for 16 hours. It would just splater if you'd drop it on the floor.

Potato-risotto (not my idea). I used potato, cut in rice-size pieces, instead of rice. Both release the necessary starch and create this incredible texture. Then the process of making it is the same.

Steak frites. Dont have to say anything else. Frites made only out of potatoes and a great steak.

First time I did asparagus, and it turned out AMAZING! Beautiful, not woody but also not slopy asparagus, steamed with prosciutto-ham, realy good selfmade gnochi (you could realy taste the potato and the egg) with a parmesan-sauce and fresh ciabatta.

Result of last night, 11:30pm: Orecchiette with a puttanesca-sauce. All from scratch, the orechiette came out a little big but were really tasty!

Camembert in puff pastry. There is a french term too, but I can't remember it right now...

Beef bourguignon. Please never ask me to say this. Think of this: Meat, cooked in tomato (+paste), carrots, onions, garlic and some herbs. Cooked until the water is reduced, filled with water again, reduced again, times ... 10 maybe?

"Chestnuts roasting on the open fire", the official picture to the song... :-) We had a fireplace at our cabin where we spent 5 days of our christmas break so why not roast some chestnuts.

Risotto on a grilled mushroom.

As 2 attempts to celebrate miriam's birthday failed and she randomly requested a pizza I just made her one. Cheese inside the crust, a beautifully balanced tomato sauce, ham, pinapple &swiss cheese on top. Finished with white truffles-oil on the crust.

Another focaccia. This time I tried to get some freshness on it, like the thinly sliced tomatos and peppers. Together with the anchovies, tomato-paste and some chayenne it was still a little bit too much for a classical south-italian focaccia.

Testing different kind of apples, pears and cheeses. It was a good day...

We ran out of butter but had a lot of cream, so we just made butter real quick. All of us only knew in theory how to make it and this is what it turned out to be...

Beautiful, self-made meat-"buns". Soggy, still quite solid, sooo good...
